Music & Wellness
Healing Through Sound
Music has the power to calm, restore, and reconnect people in moments when words are not enough.
Through our Music & Wellness Program, Harlem Boys Choir Music School brings live musical performances into hospitals, care centers, senior residences, and community spaces across New York City.
Our goal is simple: to create moments of peace, dignity, and emotional renewal through live music.
Community Partnerships Across the Five Boroughs
We are actively building relationships with hospitals and healthcare institutions in every borough, placing trained student musicians and professional teaching artists in community rooms, lounges, and shared healing spaces.
These performances are designed to support:
- Emotional wellbeing for patients and families
- Stress reduction in clinical environments
- Cultural enrichment within care communities
- Human connection through live performance
A Pipeline of Young Artists and Professionals
Our musicians are carefully prepared for these engagements, receiving training in:
- Professional performance etiquette
- Sensitivity in healthcare environments
- Repertoire suited for calm and reflective settings
- Ensemble coordination and live adaptability
From student ensembles to faculty artists, each performance reflects excellence, respect, and care.
Building Bridges Between Arts and Care
We believe that music belongs not only on the stage—but in the spaces where people need it most.
This initiative strengthens both sides:
- Hospitals gain consistent access to live cultural programming
- Students gain real-world performance experience with purpose
- Communities experience music as a form of healing presence
Join Our Hospital Partnership Network
We are currently expanding partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
If your organization is interested in hosting live music programming, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate.
Where care meets sound, healing begins.
